ANNOUNCEMENTS

The next PTO meeting is scheduled for February 5th at 7pm in the Marion-Walker library.  As always, childcare and refreshments will be provided.  Any questions, please contact Liz.

Holiday Store will be held Friday, December 12th during school. If you have not turned in your volunteer form and would like to help that day, please contact Liz at gstone@gotmc.net or Heather at Heather@gotmc.net. New this year, there will be a "make up" day on Monday, December 15th for any children who are absent on Friday.  Please do not send your child to school if they are sick just to do their Holiday Store shopping. The committee and teachers will make arrangements for the children who were absent on Friday to have an opportunity to shop on Monday.

Your Giant grocery store shopping card must be re-registered each year.  Go to www.giantaplus.com and register your shopping card.  The PTO receives a percentage of your purchases. This helps us pay for many PTO activities.

The PTO membership drive concluded at the end of October. Your donations allow the PTO to fund field trips, playground equipment, and other projects at the school. 

We are again participating in the Great Lakes Scrip program.  Information will be coming home with the students, or you can also go to the backpack link to see the flyer and the order form.

Please remember to continue saving your Campbell's Soup labels and Box Tops for Education.  

The 2003 Marion-Walker Cookbook is back by popular demand! If you didn't buy it then, or maybe you wore out your old one, contact Liz at gstone@gotmc.net or 383-2389. They are only $10!

It's not too early to begin sending in pictures of your student for the yearbook.  You can send them to Karen at marwalkerybk@gmail.com.
